I am an independent music professional, freelance accordionst, composer and producer.
I started to play the accordion at the age of eighteen, and I immediately fell in love. The relationship is still passionate!
I am musically educated at folk high schools and at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg, where I have been studying World music as a main subject.
Today I am a freelance musician and a teacher and my accordion is heard in various contexts, playing different kinds of folk and world music styles, Eastern European, Latin, Reggae, Pop, etc. I compose a lot of music for different groups and contexts.
I also work as a freelance producer for some of my own music projects, and I book and promote Visor för frågvisa.
What I wish to mediate to listeners is naked roughness combined with pensive dynamics. Atmospheric and compelling melodies played with the heart on the outside!
